Yes, I really filed my tissue paper.

This was what was in my downstairs closet. I think most people call it a coat closet.

I save every gift bag that finds its way into my house. I also save the tissue paper. It can look a little tacky to people who do not know me, but for those who do they know not to throw out the bag of used tissue paper. I will pull out each piece and flatten it out. If you get a gift from me in a bag, chances are that bag and that tissue paper are not new.

I pulled everything out because it is getting to that season. We will need a bag for this or that. So I decided to finally organize them. Yes, I filed my tissue paper by color. There I said it. It was an easy thing to do, but it makes me feel like I am one step away from being a crazy woman with a wrapping room. Not that I am opposed to such a thing. It is just kind of a crazy thought to have a room just for wrapping. I am still trying to find a room for sitting without finding a toy under my butt.

It really only took me 15 mins to do all of this, but I can promise you that it has saved me many more minutes. I am one of those people who can remember what something looks like in its current spot, but can't remember where that current spot is. One day I might have a wrapping room. Until that magical time comes, I will have gift bags in closets and tissue paper in a busted filing box.

  1. Love it! My tissue paper and bags are actually under the bed in the guest room in a flat box.
